The technology meets the criteria of the European Council Directive 91/271/EEC (May 21, 1991), making it suitable for use as a primary sewage treatment system. The Salsnes quickly established itself as the most effective fine screen in Norway. The Salsnes began to rapidly replace other fine screen systems due to its many advantages. Salsnes now operates a state of the art manufacturing facility in Salsnes, Norway with the main sales office in Namsos, Norway.
